Laura Trott: 'Mum doesn't trust us with our medals!'
Olympic cyclists Laura and Jason know that mum's the word...
Mums and Dads know best, right? Of course they do! So when Olympic couple Laura Trott and Jason Kenny dropped by to chat on this morning's Breakfast Show, they revealed just who keeps their prized possessions - that's their MASSIVE collection of medals - in a safe place.
Grimmy asked if Laura had officially changed her name to Kenny after getting married to Jason, and it's true she has! (But we all still know her as Laura Trott, obvs.)
He then totally bigged up the cycling pair, firstly Laura for being "Britain most successful female athlete to date," with her amazing FOUR gold medals.
Jason's SIX saw him equal Sir Chris Hoy's record, so all-in-all they make quite the medal-winning duo!
But Laura and Jason revealed that, even though they've a whopping TEN gold medal between them, they've no idea where they are... because their parents keep hold of them!

She confirmed their parents had taken them to keep them safe...
... but when Laura asked her lovely Mum to pass them over for an event, she apparently couldn't find them!
"My Mum's a nightmare as she always puts things away - so I said 'OK, you look after them' and the other day I was like, 'Mum, can you get my London medals down, we need them for an appearance?' ...and she was like, 'If I can find them!'"
Fortunately she was able to locate them - probably from a dusty box in the loft, we reckon - so there was a happy ending. And, as Nick so playfully put it, there isn't quite the same panic like when he misplaces his phone charger... unless it was made from gold, obvs.
