On 2 December, 2024 one video wey go viral on social media appear to show wia senior students of di school loosely tie one junior student wit chain around im neck.

Di video also show as di junior student kneel for ground dey smile and make gestures as voices of di senior students dey tell am make e smile and make dos gestures.

FCT Police Command tok-tok pesin, Josephine Adeh tell BBC Pidgin say "we dey on di mata and investigation dey go on".

She explain say nobody, including di school and di family of di alleged victim officially report to dem, but as dem hear di mata di Police take proactive steps to locate di school and start investigation sharp-sharp.

"We go inform di public wen we conclude investigation," Josephine Adeh tok.

Meanwhile, di school authority tell BBC Pidgin say" na play di students bin dey play and dem don take disciplinary action against di students wey dey involved."

"I also see as dem dey do video recording and na Sadiq (classmate of David and di oda boys) wey dey record di video."

David add say di school authority dey collect dia phones and tablets except dem wan use am study, and dem go return am wen dia study time finish.

"So di phone wey Sadiq use record di video na one Day student get am and di student bin leave di tablet for school, so Imtiaz give Sadiq di tablet wey di Day student leave for school to use record di video."

"Dis tin happun around 7pm in di evening afta dinner, so Imtiaz tell Sadiq to record di video and afta im record finish, all of us pose to snap picture, den Imtiaz say im wan see di video, afta im see am finish, im tok say im like di video."

"Afta we finish, Imtiaz ask for di tablet, im con enta Snapchat con send di video to im account, den im delete di video from di tablet sake of say na junior student get di tablet and im no want di student to see di video."

'My pikin dey traumatised' - Parent

One of di parents wey im pikin dey inside di viral video, Alhaji Muhammed Ibrahim say im pikin don dey di school for almost 15 years.

"Imtiaz Bello na pikin wey no go fit hide dis kain tin, im don dey our school for 13 years and im know di reporting system, so e shock me, I con tell her to sitdown make I listen to her, she open her phone show me video say if I no expel di children di video will go online"

According to her, di Ministry of Education say make dem lift di indefinite suspension of di students soon so dat dem fit prepare for dia final exams.
