एखाद्याची प्रशंसा करण्यासाठी सगळ्यात सोपा उपाय म्हणजे 'great' वापरा .

You notice that we use it with the verb 'to be' in the appropriate tense. Dan used 'great' but you can use other positive adjectives like fantastic, brilliant or amazing.

Listen and repeat:

You were fantastic! 

You were brilliant!  

You were amazing!

ही सहजपणे केलेली प्रशंसा होती. पण एखाद्याला खास गोष्टीबद्दल तुम्हाला बोलायचं असलं त्याचा उल्लेख वाक्यात करा. हे ऐका.

Pay attention to the sentence stress  - 'so' is strongly stressed. Listen and repeat:

You're so good at asking questions. 

You're so good at listening.

You're so good at explaining things.

'You look really nice' is a general compliment and then we can use 'I like your…' to comment on something specific.

ती म्हणाली 'That jacket really suits you'. 'Suits' म्हणजे खु  लून दिसणे, छान दिसणे.

When Jiaying said 'It's a good colour on you' it meant the same thing – it means that it is a suitable colour for them to wear.
