Christmas in shorts
Not much left to say other than to wish peace and goodwill to all. Thanks for all your top bloggery this year and your thousands of top posts and tune suggestions. We have one more show tonight, one final hurrah before the magic and madness takes over.
So long darkness!
For anyone still working, the most common response you get on the phone or email is 'sorry the office is closed'. Obviously this doesn't apply to the schools of Dundee which are still going, still finding important things to teach, all the way up till lunchtime today.
Seven druids dance in seven time.
Still going. Onwards. A happy winter solstice to you all!
Have Cape, Wear Cape (Again)
Well I’m still here. Driving it all home till Christmas Eve! Even though I have been deserted by Matt (too excited) and Rebecca (too busy setting up her empire), someone has to keep his hand to the festive tiller (not sure that works). A strange week though where everyone seems to be on holiday ...
Sprung from cages out on highway nine
So long farewell etc and thanks to the fabulous Rebecca Pike. I left them all in Nigel’s restaurant of choice, settling in for what could have been a late one. They probably found a late bar then a nightclub and a greasy spoon for a breakfast to ease away the aches and bleariness.
Feliz Navidad (y adiós Rebecca)
...and also with you. Apologies for the late appearance yesterday. There was a fault in the supply chain. Once the fault was spotted, action was swift etc. Onwards… So a sad day here as Rebecca bows out after 10 YEARS! That’s 10 years everyone. Which is a whole lot longer than me.
Looking to the Future in Much Brighter Moods
I do fancy a bit of cosplay today (no you don’t). I see Star Wars this afternoon and the idea of going as an Ewok or a Sith Lord rather appeals (no it doesn’t). Who wants to go just dressed in normal gear?
Stepping Through The Door
Mild and damp. Just the way I like it. Happy Tuesday to us all with a side order of bread sauce. Nigel’s offering today is that wonderful Christmas accompaniment, to be served in a jug right next to my plate. No one else is bothered (parent fail) so it’s all for me.
O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum,
And we are off again on the week before…always crazy busy! So much to do on top everything else plus keeping everyone happy as well as smiling and having fun. Exhausting! Oh yes and all that travel.
Slow dancing, anything I want
Super Friday is here (not an official thing, just a possibility really). I have dried out after yesterdays soaking. The walk from the Spurs ground to the tube is ridiculous, takes for ever and can be a cheerless experience, particularly if, as used to happen, you’re being chased by opposing fans.
