Looking to the Future in Much Brighter Moods

Simon Mayo

Presenter

I do fancy a bit of cosplay today (no you don’t). I see Star Wars this afternoon and the idea of going as an Ewok or a Sith Lord rather appeals (no it doesn’t). Who wants to go just dressed in normal gear? (you do, always) Anyway I realise that it has been a decade or so since seeing Return of the Jedi and not being a real believer, need a refresher. Who hates who/m? Who comes from where? Is Ja Ja Binks going to be in it? I shall consult a primer and then watch with a thrill in my heart and my lightsaber at a jaunty angle. I will also not spoil it for anyone but might annoy Matt and Rebecca by just saying that I know what happens. And of course we have to do STAR WARS oldies because THERE IS NOTHING ELSE HAPPENING, ANYWHERE.

Apart from poor Jeremy Vine failing to make it through his show and producer Tim having to take over. Producers everywhere were delighted and numerous cries of ‘See! I told you it was easy!’ rang out across the radio world. Obviously this sets a very dangerous precedent. Will presenters be expected to produce their own shown shows when production teams go sick? Think of the savings to be made! Oo-er. Get well soon Jezza.

Nigel’s Christmas gravy, a festive confession and Dr Mosh’s CHRIS MOSH all on the way. And no spoilers for SWTFA fans, guaranteed.
