Mild and damp. Just the way I like it. Happy Tuesday to us all with a side order of bread sauce. Nigel’s offering today is that wonderful Christmas accompaniment, to be served in a jug right next to my plate. No one else is bothered (parent fail) so it’s all for me. I love the gloopiness, the onioniness and the clovey peppercorniness of it all (spellcheck hating all of this btw). So it might not be much of a starter, but Nigel’s bread sauce will be treat. I might even need a doggy bag.
Also today a singalonga Holland as Jools is back for some Christmas boogie-woogie with his top friend Ruby Turner. And we have to do some songs for MAJOR TIM, today launched into space for a Christmas in Space. Think we’ll do Star Wars tomorrow so let’s give Tim Peake his pride of place today as he becomes the UK’s first official astronaut. 3000 orbits and 6 months in space with loads of experiments, this will be an amazing time on the International Space Station. So let’s hear it for Major Tim!
