Still going. Onwards. A happy winter solstice to you all! Tomorrow it’ll be lighter and everything but today it is super dark and we need to crank up the lights. Tinsel and baubles with everything is the way to go. Our solstice caller yesterday reporting the Stonehenge gathering was understandably confused but today the noon sun is at its lowest and there is the shortest amount of daylight. But given that the posties are still wearing shorts, maybe that doesn’t matter too much…
Rick and Emmie were fabulous yesterday I thought and what a voice for a 15 year old! I think we are entitled to be a little sceptical about young talent but she sounded excellent to me. And the response from listeners was very strong too. And always a joy to have old twinkle-fingers on the show. Maybe the whole of The Myths and Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table next time.
