Homework Sucks!
Its the moment that every parent dreads. Your child returns from school with a mighty tough piece of homework, they need help and so obviously it's you they turn to. You are the obvious choice. You have been the source of knowledge all their life-why wouldn't they ask you? The only problem is you have no idea what they are talking about. At all.
So step forward Homework Sucks! from your new Drivetime show on Radio 2. Everyday we will be here for you. We are here to help. If you have an ongoing homework conundrum-French, Geography, History or Astrophysics, we want to know about it. Sure you can use google but why not try the wisdom of the Radio 2 audience (insert your joke of choice here) first? There's wisdom and experience in them thar hills...
You could be first on on Monday. Tell us the homework problem. We'll suffer with you.

Must say, am really looking forward to you taking over the Drivetime slot.
Good luck!

Good luck with the show Simon; I'm very much looking forward to the new regime of Chris in the morning and you at drivetime. I need some structure to my radio 2 listening!

Good luck with your new show! I was delighted to hear that you were taking over the evening drive-time show on R2.
I've been an avid radio listener since I was a kid ... from the pirates, to R1 and R2, to commercial radio and online.
In October 2009, I realized one of my dreams and became a (music) radio broadcaster myself, here in North Texas (... where I emigrated from the UK in 1990).
I do have a new-found respect for just how demanding radio work actually is (contrary to popular belief), but I'm having a ball ... and I hope YOU too have a ball in your new time-slot!
I will be listening, via the Internet!
Best regards,
