Watson is through to her first ever senior semi final

Guernsey's Heather Watson is through to her first ever senior semi-final at the Pro Series tournament at Felixstowe.

The 17-year-old took the first set in Suffolk but lost the second, setting up a decider against fourth seed Raffaella Bindi, from Italy.

Watson won 6-3 4-6 6-4 and has now beaten two of the tournament's seeds.

Watson's victories in previous rounds were also three-setters against France's Morgane Pons and fellow Brit and fifth seed Yasmin Clarke.
