The cost of travel could force the Nomads to leave the league
Bavaria Nomads may have to pull out of the 2009/10 season as changes to the number of fixtures give the Alderney club a big bill to foot.
Clubs voted to play each other three times rather than twice, meaning more games for players, but thousands of pounds in travel costs for the Nomads.
Guernsey clubs have decided to only travel to Alderney for one game each.
"The situation is about as grave as it gets," President of the Alderney FA Keith Webster told BBC Guernsey.
Webster added: "We are looking at the future of football in Alderney, at the moment we have enough money to fund our fixtures to around mid-January."
"After that if we can't raise any addition funding and I'm talking about £5,000 here, then we'll have no option but to withdraw from the Guernsey league structure."
The Nomads have played in the Guernsey football leagues for decades and currently play in the Senior County Division Two.
