Jersey have beaten their fierce rivals Guernsey 2-0 in the semi-finals of the football at the Island Games in Aland.

Ross Crick and Mark Lucas scored the goals for Jersey as Guernsey failed to find the back of the net, despite a frantic close to the match.

Jersey will now play hosts Aland in the final on Friday afternoon.

Guernsey must settle for a place in the bronze medal play-off against the Isle of Man who themselves were beaten 2-1 by Aland after extra time.
