Watson is due to play at Junior Wimbledon on Saturday
Guernsey's Heather Watson and her Polish partner Magda Linette have won the women's doubles at the AEGON International Junior Championships.
Watson and Linette beat top seeds Ajla Tomljanovic and Timea Babos 10-6 on a championship tie break at the event in Roehampton, London.
The match was tied at one-set-all after the first two sets finished 6-3 3-6.
Watson told BBC Radio Guernsey that the victorious duo "jumped up and hugged each other" after the final point.
Watson added: "It's a great achievement and this is always a tough tournament because it's the pre-tournament to Wimbledon.
"Most players going to Wimbledon are playing it, so it has given us a lot of confidence for next week and hopefully we can do just as well as we've done here."
On Saturday, Watson will take part in Junior Wimbledon for the second consecutive year and with success in Roehampton now under her belt, the 17-year-old is feeling confident ahead of her appearance at SW19.
She said: "I don't mind who I play against at Wimbledon, because whoever it is I'm going to prepare the same and give the same effort.
"I'm just going to take it match by match, every game is going to be tough and everyone in the draw is a good player, so I'll just try and do my best really."
The allure of playing at Wimbledon is not lost on the Guernsey-born star.
She said: "I played at Wimbledon last year in my first grand slam. I was given a great court and I love the atmosphere there."
