Guernsey's Heather Watson secured one of the biggest victories in her young tennis career after winning the Yucatan World Cup in Mexico. The 16-year-old beat Romania's Ana Bogdan, the world junior number seven and top seed, 3-6, 7-5, 6-2 in the final on Sunday. The tournament is regarded as one of the most prestigious junior events on the world circuit. The win could see Watson break into the top 50 young players in the world. She is currently ranked 84 in the world, but has been as high as 64 this season.
