National Two leaders Redruth recovered from a 10-point deficit to come away with a draw in the North East.

In the first period Blaydon's Martin Shaw and Redruth's Mark Scrivener exchanged three points with the boot.

But Blaydon lead 13-3 at the break after wingers Brendan Daniel and Andrew Fenby both crossed the try line.

In the second half Nigel Hambly's side levelled the scores with tries from the returning number 8 Mark Bright and wing Alan Thirlby.
