Redruth outscored Mounts Bay four tries to one as their pack dominated the Cornish derby at the Recreation Ground.

Prop Darren Jacques, right-wing Paul Thirby and number eight James Mann all went over, with Thirby's second try securing a bonus point.

Mounts Bay lock John Griffiths was sent off for punching, leaving them with 14 men for the last half hour.

Scrum-half Greg Goodfellow's try was a token reply as the Penzance visitors were well beaten.
