Mounts Bay cruised into the fourth round of the National Trophy with a convincing 24-7 victory over Barking. The home side seized the initiative with flanker Brett Stroud crossing the line early in the first half. Full-back Mike Molloy then went over in the corner and lock Ben Hilton touched down to give the home side a 19-0 lead. Barking dominated possession after the re-start and wing Scott Shaw crossed but Mounts Bay replacement Duke Seymour scored in the corner to seal the win.
