Johns has impressed the Bay's coaches since joining on loan in October |
Mounts Bay head coach Adrian Bick says he is pleased with the form of his trio of Plymouth Albion loanees. Steve Johns, Darren Richie and Jamie Salter all scored tries in Saturday's 41-16 win over Waterloo at the Mennaye. Bude-born back Johns, 21, has particularly impressed Bick with his recent form as Bay have won five of their last six National Two matches. "Every game he's performed really well and he's a very mature player for his age," Bick told BBC Radio Cornwall. "He's been my man of the match twice this year and we're delighted with him," he added. "Steve's been a great asset to us since he's arrived from Albion, as has Darren Ritchie and Jamie Salter. Albion have been fantastic to us."
