Radlinski makes Wigan team
Wigan full-back Kris Radlinski
Radlinski has yet to win the Challenge Cup with Wigan
The Challenge Cup final will be live on BBC One and BBC Five Live Sports Extra plus audio commentary on BBC Sport Online Saturday 1400 BST.

Wigan have named full-back Kris Radlinski in their Challenge Cup final team even though he is still in hospital.

Coach Stuart Raper pencilled in Radlinski for the starting 13 to take on St Helens at Murrayfield in Edinburgh on Saturday.

But the 26-year-old back has not emerged from hospital since being hooked up to a drip to treat a blood disorder on Sunday.

Raper said: "We still have a doubt about Kris Radlinski who is still recovering in hospital from an infection but we are doing everything in our power to get him on the field."

  Wigan squad
Radlinski, Dallas, Ainscough, Connolly, Johnson, O'Neill, Lam, O'Connor, Newton, C Smith, Cassidy, Furner, Farrell. Subs: O'Loughlin, Carney, Hodgson, M Smith, Wild, Bibey.

If Radlinksi is ruled out, centre Gary Connolly - playing in his sixth Challenge Cup - or Julian O'Neill could play at the back.

Connolly, 30, began his career at full-back and played there in his first Challenge Cup final for home-town side St Helens as a 17-year-old in 1989.

Veteran forward Harvey Howard, who has played in three losing Challenge Cup final teams, will not get the chance to end his drought.

The 33-year-old will miss the Murrayfield showdown as he has failed to recover from the flu.

He lost successive Wembley finals between 1993-95 while with Widnes and then Leeds.

Howard, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has played in all 11 of Wigan's league and cup games this year.

Raper has named a 19-man squad that includes second rower Stephen Wild, who celebrates his 21st birthday the day before the game, and 19-year-old Sean O'Loughlin.
