Jaimie Pickard rode for Stoke's second string, the Spitfires, in 2007 |
Stoke Potters have one place left to fill in their line-up for the 2011 season after agreeing a deal with former Plymouth rider Jaimie Pickard. The 21-year-old from Worcestershire won the Conference Trophy and the Knockout Cup during his time with the Devils. "Jaimie has progressed well over the past couple of seasons," said Stoke Potters promoter Dave Tattum. "He has improved his average significantly and we believe he's quite capable of doing the same this season." Tattum continued: "We now have only one place to fill in order to complete the line up and we hope to be in a position to announce the final rider sooner rather than later." Pickard joins Simon Lambert, Tony Atkin, Tim Webster, Gareth Isherwood and James Sarjeant in the team at Loomer Road for Stoke's first season at National League level.
