Bury substitute Kyle Bennett scored a brace as the hosts came from behind to see off Crewe.
Shaun Miller coolly slotted home his 14th goal of the season to put the Alex ahead over an out-of-sorts Shakers.
Bennett was introduced after an hour and quickly made his mark - pouncing on a loose ball before slotting in.
The youngster then drilled in from 20 yards out, while Ryan Lowe scored in his seventh consecutive game to wrap up the points with a low drive.
Bury striker Ryan Lowe told BBC Radio Manchester: "I'm chuffed by it all (scoring seven in seven) to be honest and it's good for me and the team.
"Kyle's (Bennett) got great ability and he's come on, showed fighting spirit and scored two goals .
"First half we were diabolical and the gaffer gave us a good rollicking and told us we need to perform better."
Crewe manager Dario Gradi told BBC Radio Stoke: "We're not hopeless but we're having a hard time at the moment.
"We were happy with the good times in January, now we've got to look to have a good March.
"This was always going to be a hard game and I'd have settled for 1-1 before the game."
