Isherwood becomes the fourth rider to commit himself to the Potters for 2011 |
National League side Stoke Potters have added Gareth Isherwood to their line-up for the 2011 season. The 22-year-old started his career with Stoke's second string, the Spitfires, before moving to Buxton and Scunthorpe. Stoke promoter Dave Tattum said: "He was progressing well for our second team before we had to unfortunately pull the plug on the Spitfires. "I feel we owe Gareth a place in the line-up because he has stuck by the club and wants to ride for Stoke." Tattum continued: "Gareth understands what is expected of him, he wants to do well for the club and I really do feel he will move forward this season." Isherwood joins Simon Lambert, Tony Atkin and Tim Webster in the Potters' team for 2011 and Tattum is optimistic that he will complete the line-up within the next few days.
