Sarjeant has raced for Scunthorpe, Dudley Heathens and Bournemouth |
Stoke Potters have recruited teenager James Sarjeant to ride for them in the National League during the 2011 season. The 17-year-old joins new additions Simon Lambert, Tony Atkin, Tim Webster and Gareth Isherwood at Loomer Road. "He's an up-and-coming talent with plenty of enthusiasm and determination to succeed," said promoter Dave Tattum. "I really do feel the side is coming together now, I feel we are getting the right balance in the team and I'm hopeful that we can have a good year." Sarjeant has previously raced for Scunthorpe, Dudley Heathens and Bournemouth during his short career. Meanwhile Taylor Poole, who starred for the Potters during a disappointing 2010 season for the club, has been named as the number eight rider for Elite League side Eastbourne Eagles.
