James Walker is in third in the Series, just nine points off first place |
James Walker finished third in his Formula Renault 3.5 race at Monaco. The Jersey racer started in second, but was overtaken at the start in the race that supports the Monaco Grand Prix. In front of all the Formula One teams Walker told BBC Jersey that it was important to continue the good form he has shown so far this season. "Following on from the win at Spa, to pick a podium up here and some really valuable points is fantastic," he said, "especially in front of the F1 bosses." Walker is now in third place in the Series, just nine points off first. The next round of the World Series for Renault is in Budapest in three weeks.
