James Walker is looking to continue his good form in Monaco
James Walker has continued his good form in the World Series by Renault after finishing fastest in Thursday's testing in Monaco.
The 25-year-old is hoping to continue his good form after winning in the last round in Spa, Belgium.
Walker told BBC Radio Jersey: "Testing went really well, even though it was tight, we were quickest by half a 10th of a second.
"So I am looking forward to qualifying on Saturday."
Currently third in the championship Walker is brimming with confidence.

"The team are pumped up for it and I was just dying for a result like Spa to kick-start our championship," he said.
"We are sitting in third place and if we can take some good points away from the two guys in front this weekend it will be even better."
The World Series by Renault is recognised as a feeder series for Formula 1 so it is important for Walker to perform well in front of the F1 bosses in Monaco.
"It's great to be sharing the course with the F1 teams, it's added pressure performing in front of them as well.
"But it's such a magical race week and Monaco is such a special event so the team and I will be giving it everything we've got to be on the front row of the grid."
Qualifying takes place on Saturday with Walker's race on Sunday at 1000 BST before the Formula 1 race gets under way.
