Ponte won the 2009 Guernsey Ladies title

Defending champion Aimee Ponte will take on former winner Jan Chamberlain in the 2010 ladies final on Friday.

Ponte, who was favourite to win her semi-final match against Mandy Hardman, took the tie by five and four.

In the second semi-final, Chamberlain took an early 3-0 lead against Di Aithison and went on to close out the match by four and three.

In the bronze matches, Channel Islands champion Jean Mills won her match with Alice Hurford by four and three.

The second bronze match between Kathryn Touzeau and Carolyn Mallet was much closer, and ended on the 16th hole with Mallet's shot finding a watery grave out of the bunker, to give Touzeau the win by three and two.
