Brighton striker Bas Savage hopes his side have turned the corner in League One after picking up their first away points of the season. This week, the Seagulls drew 0-0 at Swansea and won 2-0 at Bournemouth.
"We've had a good start, especially at home, but hadn't picked up anything away so we knew we had to start somewhere," Savage told BBC Sport.
"We knew we had to be a bit stronger, but we've picked up four points in two away games now, with two clean sheets."
Brighton's contrasting form had seen then win their first three games at Withdean before going down 2-1 to Yeovil, despite drawing a blank away from home.

"We'd been unlucky at Tranmere, and at both Crewe and Gillingham we played well without getting our rewards," Savage explained. "We've defended well, and against Bournemouth we took our chances."
The last two games have also seen Savage operate on the right wing, with Nicky Forster and Alex Revell playing up front.
Before he moved to the south coast in February, Savage's goal record was not much to cheer about - having found the net just twice in 62 league appearances for Reading, Wycombe, Bury, Bristol City and Gillingham, since making his debut for the Royals in 2002.

But the 25-year-old seems happy to have found his shooting boots at Withdean, with a burst of six goals in 15 appearances last term, although Tuesday's strike at Bournemouth was his first of this season. Savage insisted: "I'm familiar with the role on the right, as I played on the wing for Reading. But I'll play in goal if I have to - I just want to be in the team.
"It's been really good for me since I've come here - the staff and the manager have made me feel very welcome, and the fans have been special to me.

"I've been enjoying it here, it's a good club to be at. I've always settled in wherever I've been, but it's been about getting a consistent run of games, and it's really taken off for me at Brighton." Savage has also become something of a cult hero with the Albion fans - and his "moonwalking" goal celebration, while gaining him national media attention, also helped resolve a dispute over his goal at Dean Court, which was also claimed by midfielder George O'Callaghan.
"It was definitely me that scored - I don't care what the replays say," Savage joked.
"I told him he's got to get his celebration in first next time!
"Hopefully I can add a few more goals and put on the moonwalk a few more times. I even do it in training, so the other players might be sick of it there, but they wanted to see it on a match day."
