Bristol City have signed striker Bas Savage on a short-term contract after finally receiving clearance. City faced a battle for his signature because he had been with Coventry on a non-contract basis earlier this season.
"The league and the FA told us we couldn't do it earlier today but we've found a way to sort it," manager Gary Johnson told BBC Radio Bristol.
City have also completed the paperwork on the loan deal which sees David Noble join on loan from Boston United.
