Coventry City have announced their decision to release former Reading striker Bas Savage. Savage, who made 18 appearances at Reading, was taken on trial at the Ricoh Arena one month ago.
The 23-year-old played in three reserve games but has not featured in a first-team fixture for Coventry.
Savage also enjoyed loan spells at League Two sides Bury and Wycombe before he was released by the Royals at the end of last season.
