Coventry manager Micky Adams has taken former Reading striker Bas Savage on trial at the Ricoh Arena with a view to a permanent move. Savage was released by the Royals at the end of last season.
The Sky Blues boss made the move for the 23-year-old after Dele Adebola suffered a hamstring injury.
Adebola is facing a race against time to be fit for the game against Crystal Palace when the Championship resumes after the international break.
