Bury have signed Reading striker Bas Savage on a month's loan. "He is a big lad and he will come here and do the job for us if he is up to it," Shakers boss Graham Barrow told his club's website.
Savage joined Reading from Walton and Hersham in April, 2002 but has started just half-a-dozen games for the Royals.
The 23-year-old, who impressed Bury assistant boss Kelham O'Hanlon while playing for Reading reserves, spent a spell on loan at Wycombe this season.
