Le Prevost happy with youngsters

North
North's young players have impressed first team manager Mick Le Prevost

North manager Mick Le Prevost says he has faith in blooding some of his club's top youngsters as they aim to win Guernsey's football title.

North's under 21's team are top of the Development League with eight wins from nine games and half of the island's under 21's squad were from the club.

A number were involved on Saturday as North went five points clear at the top of Senior County League Division One.

"I've got no problems at all playing the kids," he told BBC Guernsey.

"I've known these kids a long time because when I was a youth coach I was involved with them."

And he singled out a number of young island players who have come through the North ranks and played well in the 3-0 win over local-rivals Vale Rec on Saturday.

"Jack Domaille was our best player on the pitch and he's just 17-years-old," he added.

"Scott Bougourd has done very well for me as well and I had to bring on Nigel Hutton for Craig Young who was injured after 30 minutes and he did very well as well."
