Watson will go into the junior Australian Open full of confidence

Guernsey's Heather Watson enhanced her growing reputation by winning another junior international tournament.

Watson, 16, and her Croatian partner Ajla Tomljanovic won the under-18 doubles event at the International Casablanca Junior Cup in Mexico City.

The top seeds lost the first set 4-6 to Ana Bogdam and Malou Ejdesgaard but won the second 6-3 and went on to take the decider 10-5 in a tie-break.

Watson is warming up for the junior Australian Open later in January.
