Guernsey's young golfers are to receive a �3,000 boost after securing funding from the Royal Bank of Scotland.

The money will be used for various projects, including this year's Inter-Insular clash, which is being held at the Royal Jersey Golf Club.

Guernsey Golf Club president Bill Le Huray told BBC Guernsey: "The funding will allow the team to focus on their preparations."

Jersey are the current holders of the Inter-Insular clash.
