Northerners have gone five points clear at the top of Guernsey's Senior County League Division One after beating local rivals Vale Rec 3-0 on Saturday.
Glyn Dyer got the chocolate and blues off to the perfect start with a goal inside the first minute before two late second half goals sealed the win.
"You dream for starts like that," North boss Mick Le Prevost told BBC Guernsey.
"To score in the first 50 seconds was brilliant and I thought we might kick on from there," he added.
Elsewhere Rangers are six points clear in third place after beating fourth-placed St Martin's 2-0 at Blanche Pierre Lane. They are now two points off second-placed Belgrave Wanderers.
Bottom side Rovers go into Christmas without a point after losing their ninth straight game, going down 4-2 to Sylvans at St Peter.
Sylvans stay second-from-bottom but are now level on points with Vale Rec.
