Football: Media v Deputies
Guernsey Press' Thom Ogier turns to go past Deputy Al Brouard

Guernsey's chief minister scored two goals in Government United's 4-1 victory over the media on Saturday.

The team made up of deputies and civil servants beat the media team formed from all the island's various outlets.

Photographer Tom Tardiff gave the media an early lead but goals from Carl Guille, Kevin Lesbirel and Deputy Lyndon Trott sealed the game.

The match raised 150 which was donated to the Maison Million appeal, which is behind an Alzheimer's care unit.

This is the fifth time the annual fixture has been held with Government United securing a second win in a row but trailing behind the Media who lead 3-2 overall.
