Your Tour experiences and comments
i chased the tour in a peugeot rental car in 2003.it was the highlight of my life to see the tour and all its glory.my father and i were pictured on the front page of the french paper"LIBERATION" JULY27th 2003 holding the american flag as lance leads the pact through Brive-la-Gaillarde et Montlucon. MONUMENTAL!

Laurent Jalabert won at Mende in 1995, and me and my girlfriend saw the wiley Frenchman pull it off. It was one of the few times Miguel Indurain was made to look pedestrian on a mountain stage, while Jalabert was superb throughout. It was Bastille Day and I've rarely seen such craziness from the French fans, including one who pelted alongside Jalabert until he tripped over his shoelaces and went crashing into the ditch. All light-hearted entertainment.
