Your Tour experiences and comments
My wife and I followed the entire 2003 tour in a car. We camped, cheered and photographed our way through the route and have a website of all the photos. It was fabulous.

Kalsruhe is the birthplace of the Baron of Drais de von Sauerbronn who in 1817 invented the dandy horse, which was the precursor to the bicycle.

My family and I went to watch the Tour as it came into Rastatt. What a great experience. Being an American and an avid Tour fan it was great to see all the cyclists perform to their utmost. It's also one of the few times you really get to see many people of different nations come together to cheer some amazing sportsmen with no animosity towards each other.
George, Germany
