Your Tour experiences and comments
My friends and I cycled Alpe D'Huez last September. It's an amazing arena. Even though it was an hour of pain you have these images of the Tour in your mind as you cycle up there. I enjoyed it so much I got up and did it again the next day.
Neil Willoughby, Bath

Digne-les-Bains and its surrounding areas are renowned for its natural settings, including their thermal spas. There will be a variety of entertainment on at the end of the stage, including a Beatles tribute band as well as a flurry of fireworks to music to finish
Digne-les-Bains tourist office

Just completed some of the climb for this stage as part of a charity ride from Calais to San Remo in Italy. The route included Col De Vars and Col de la Bonnette, plus numerous other cols. It is the toughest thing I have ever done, these guys must be the fittest people in the world.
Adrian Cammidge, Southend on Sea
