European Championship 2000
Former England coach Kevin Keegan and France striker David Trezeguet
After the heights of Euro 96, came the low of Euro 2000 as Kevin Keegan's England failed to get past the group stage.

Scapegoat Phil Neville gave away a penalty in the final minutes of the key match against Romania and England went out after losing 3-2.

It was a very different story for France when David Trezeguet's golden goal resulted in them becoming the first team to add the European Championship to the World Cup.

The game had gone to extra-time after Sylvain Wiltord rescued France with an equaliser four minutes into injury time.
