Premier League newcomer at Newcastle
New Newcastle signing Jonas Gutierrez
They like their flair players up at St James' Park, don't they? Well, boss Kevin Keegan certainly does, as David Ginola and Faustino Asprilla will testify.

Keegan has had a quiet summer by his standards, but the signing of 25-year-old Argentine Jonas Gutierrez and his flowing locks from Spanish side Real Mallorca for about 10m raised a few eyebrows.

Left-winger Gutierrez, who has won three international caps, comes from La Liga with a big reputation, not to mention a couple of surprising nicknames.

First up, he's known as Spider-Man after he donned the superhero's mask and pretended to fire webs out of his wrists after scoring for Mallorca. And secondly he's been dubbed Forrest Gump because of all the running he gets through.

"I cannot tell you how excited I am to be joining Newcastle United," said Gutierrez upon his arrival. Oh OK, don't then.
