Premier League newcomers at Arsenal
(L-r) Arsenal signings Samir Nasri, Aaron Ramsey and Amauri Bischoff
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger may not have splashed multi-millions of pounds on some of Europe's top players, but he's once again shrewdly added to his options at the Emirates.

Out have gone some big names in Alex Hleb, Jens Lehmann, Mathieu Flamini and Gilberto Silva, but in come French flyer Samir Nasri, teenage prodigy Aaron Ramsey and Amaury Bischoff.

Exciting midfielder Nasri, 21, is the boyfriend of French tennis glamour girl Tatiana Golovin and comes with sparkling potential after four improving years at Marseille and 12 caps to his name already.

He fits the Arsenal bill, too. "I can play in the centre or on the wing. During my career, I've played behind one or two strikers or on the left or the right," he said.

Nicknamed Rambo, the 17-year-old Ramsey was plucked from Championship side Cardiff for 5m and has enjoyed a successful pre-season as he aims to stamp his immediate mark on the club.

Portuguese midfielder Bischoff, 21, is even more unknown after a series of injuries. "It's a gamble on talent," says Wenger.
