Mason Terry was the Braintree hero as they held Solihull to a goalless draw.
Home goalkeeper Terry made a string of saves in the first half, the pick of which was a superb point-blank stop from Emmanuel Sonupe.
Terry was beaten in the 73rd minute but Joe Sbarra's shot cannoned back off the crossbar.
Darius Lipsiuc went through one-on-one for Solihull near the end but once again Terry made a smart save.
