York edged ahead of Rochdale at the top of the National League, with a Daniel Batty stunner sealing a 3-0 win at Wealdstone.

The Minstermen gained two points on their title rivals to claim the summit on goal difference but it took Enzio Boldewijn's second-half sending off for two bookings to open a goalless game.

Morgan Williams prodded home the opener with 20 minutes to go, with Zak Johnson latching on to long throw before making it 2-0.

The points were safe as the game moved into added time but Batty fired home a brilliant long-range effort to add the gloss for Stuart Maynard's side.
