Doing an "Arnie"...

There you go I'M BACK, nuff said. Hasn't the weather been fan-dabby-dozey of late? I've managed to get well sunburnt despite what all the medical-bods keep trying to hammer home. Kiddie-winkels were at Granny and Grand-dad' s for a fortnight. Isn't it amazing how "Och we've missed seeing the weans", suddenly turns into "are you sure YOUR not missing the weans?" However despite it all they had a ball and are back with tales of adventure in Safari Parks, Castles and such.
I'm wondering if any TV folks out there would be interested in doing a piece on the phenomenon of the disappearing reverse gear that visiting cars seem to suffer from? Sorry folks but I just had to get a dig in somewhere. Maybe we should refer to the bits with the stripey poles as "pulling in " places instead of "passing(through)" places? And could the Chelsea Taxi drivers please believe me when it says 4x4 cross country vehicle, it means you too can drive on the verge!
Rant over, have a good one, till next time :)
ps. What's happened to all the old school bloggers have they all left this mortal coil?

Whyare you guys so uptight about visiting drivers? Surely island life has mellowed you so that you are driving along without a care in the world, not screaming around at breakneck speed? Relax - have a Cadburys Caramel!

Welcome back! Maybe like you - the old timers have been in hibernation. Ming's moving/building house. Coll Bar Blog has morphed into something else, and not sure about some of the other Mullachs...

And some of us are in serious danger of disappearing up our own backsides.

Doug from Coll

Ach, hopefully all the usual/old? suspects will re-appear in the autumn when the weather turns. I'm off to Australia next month, does that mean i will qualify for island blogging???
