I find it a little disconcerting that no one has commented on the "demise" of the local Health Board. I would have thought that as this affects all of us whether you're a windy, wavey or againsty. As usual it will be out to consultation again to where boundaries are to be drawn. The Health Board as is, is very geographically challenged and to put a finer point on it, totally mis-financed(from the Excecutive). Does this now mean for the Mull-blogites that the new Health facility will now be put on hold till the descision is made who in future will be responsable? Where do the very ill now go, Inverness or Glasgow? Will there now be a "West highland Infirmary" based in Fortwilliam and Oban? Or could Communities now fund their own Hospitals from monies raised through wind farms that throw up huge profits? Who cares? Solar power, now that hasn't been discussed either.....
