Haggunenon Underfleet Commander

The Haggunenons have a very "impatient Chromosomes" and evolve frequently and at inconvenient times. As a result of this genetic instability they have vowed to wage war against all "filthy rotten stinking same-lings."

It is this rapid genetic mutation that means that the Underfleet Commander is unaware that he is in fact talking to Zaphod and Trillian and not the Haggunenon Admiral. Ford, Zaphod, Trillian, Arthur and Marvin have stolen the Admiral's flag ship from Milliways, where the Admiral had gone for a quick meal, and have found themselves transported to the front of about a hundred thousand horribly weaponed black battle cruisers.
