Zarniwoop

When Zaphod Beeblebrox visits the entrance lobby of the Guide: the "second hippest place in Ursa Minor", he is informed by the receptionist that Zarniwoop is on an intergalactic cruise in his office. After being distracted from his original search, Zaphod happens upon Zarniwoop in the first class cabin of an intergalactic cruise ship. The ship has been delayed 900 years whilst awaiting a complement of lemon-soaked paper napkins. The robot crew-an auto-pilot and an android stewardess-have placed the passengers into suspended animation and only bring them round every 10 years for coffee and biscuits.

It transpires that Zaphod and Zarniwoop have been working together to find out who rules the universe. When they find the "man in the shack" Zarniwoop is left dissatisfied and with a lot of unanswered questions. He, Zaphod and Ford Prefect are stranded with the man in the shack by Arthur Dent.
