Garkbit is the Head Waiter at Milliways.
Both are professionals and it takes a lot to shake them. Garkbit is unfazed by Arthur, Ford, Zaphod, and Trillian's unruly arrival merely stating "it is not unusual for our customers to be a little disorientated" when they arrive. Max Quordlepleen is slightly thrown by the arrival of the great Prophet Zarquon but recovers quickly.
