Ally

She keeps her ear to the ground and makes it her mission to be the first to know anything juicy and her big mouth has got her into trouble on more than one occasion.

Ally is one of those people that acts first and thinks later. Always up for partying, she is funny, popular, albeit slightly unhinged. Part of her charm is that her mind does not work in the way that other people’s does. She has her own internal logic.

Ally has always had that madcap energy since she was a child. Her parents nicknamed her 'bulldozer' from a young age because she was always determined to get what she wanted and would never stop talking until she did. Although her family think she is a bit of a handful, they also think she’s charming and Ally’s very close to her parents and her two older brothers. To them she’s just Ally and no one can change that so they love her all the same.

Although she may come across like she has all the confidence in the world that isn’t the truth. Beneath it all she’s deeply insecure after the collapse of her marriage. She met Darren the man that she thought was the love of her life at 18 and instantly thought that he was the one. They got married at 23 and Ally mapped out the rest of their lives from that moment onwards - buy a house at 24 and have two kids by 30. But Ally’s well laid plans would soon go up in flames.

Ally started to notice that Darren was becoming more and more distant. She started to suspect that he was having an affair after she kept checking his internet history but it was always clean, like he cleared it every day. Eventually after doing a little bit more digging she found out that he’d been using prostitutes on a regular basis. Ally was devastated and threw him out. He tried to plead with her, saying that it wasn’t his fault because he was a sex addict but a humiliated Ally was having none of it. She stuck to her guns and divorced him. Their marriage lasted a total of 9 months. Now the irony is that Ally has become the juiciest piece of gossip to hit Coopers for quite some time!

Although Ally is hugely embarrassed by the episode she’s determined to put on a smile and turn it into a positive. Yeah she’s a divorcee in her early 20s but she’s free, she’s got the looks and the personality. She is ready to find the next man and this time she’s taking charge and making sure that there will be no secrets between them...
