The Dowsing Sound Collective

For BBC Music Day on Friday 3rd June 2016, Cambridge will host live pop up performances with young artists, songwriters and bands across the city.

The day will culminate with a special collaboration between emerging and established local artists, such as Imperial and K.I.N.E.T.I.K and The Dowsing Sound Collective, who, in their own words, are 'about as far from a traditional choir as you can get.'

Silver Street Bridge, Cambridge

Imperial and K.I.N.E.T.I.K

English Pocket Opera will be performing on a punt through the waterways of Cambridge. As they approach Silver Street bridge the opera will be joined by a local BBC Introducing hip-hop duo, Imperial and K.I.N.E.T.I.K, on top of the bridge. Hip-hop and opera will merge to create a brand new sound.

Rachel Clarke

BBC Introducing artist Rachel Clarke, along with local musicians Isobel Sugden and Edmund Stubbs will be playing a free concert in Hot Numbers Coffee for BBC Music Day.
